16 February 2017, Brussels, Belgium

We are pleased to announce the European Policy Workshop: “Renewable Energies and Crowdfunding: Opportunities and challenges with national regulations on financial return models“, to be held in Brussels on the 16th February 2017.

The purpose of this workshop, run by the European Crowdfunding Network in the framework of the CrowdFundRES project, is to validate policy recommendations and guidelines for crowdfunding platforms, investors and policy makers developed within the project for boosting the potential for crowdfunding to finance renewable energy projects.

European policy makers, renewable energy industry associations and other stakeholders responsible for the market regulation and operation are invited.

After the workshop, there will be a time for Policy bilateral meetings between decision makers and the consortium. The discussion followed during the bilateral meetings will be included in the proceedings of the policy meetings with national decision makers.
